Vnukovo International Airport is one of the largest air transport complexes in Russia. Every year, the airport handles about 200 thousand flights of Russian and foreign airlines. The airport's route network covers the entire territory of Russia, as well as neighboring countries, Europe, America, Asia and Africa. Vnukovo International Airport broke its historical record in 2019 and served over 24 million passengers, which is 11.7% or 2.5 million passengers more than in 2018.
The Vnukovo airport complex, with a total area of about 300 thousand square meters, is capable of providing a capacity of up to 35 million passengers per year.
Vnukovo International Airport, the only one among Russian airports, has a Letter of Gratitude from the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin for the achieved labor successes and high performance in professional activity.
In addition, Vnukovo Airport was recognized as the best airport in the highest category "International Airport" of the national "Air Gate of Russia" award for three years in a row, and also became the winner in the nomination "Best airport: confronting challenges 2020" within the framework of the National Exhibition of Civil Aviation Infrastructure NAIS. Terminal A
Terminal A is an example of unusually beautiful architecture combined with the most advanced technologies. Dozens of innovative solutions were used in the design and construction. Terminal A is one of the five largest passenger terminals in Europe. Central Suburban Passenger Company
From August 1, 2024, rail service between Kievsky railway station and Vnukovo airport
is carried out
by the Central Suburban Passenger Company. There is an intermediate stop at Aminyevskaya station, where you can make a quick transfer to the Big Circle Line of the metro. Train tickets can be purchased at the station ticket offices, in the BPA and in the app. Please note that at Kievsky Station, tickets are issued at the CPPK ticket offices. When using an electronic ticket, it must be activated - this can be done at the validators on the platform.
