Responsibilities:

Aviation Maintenance Engineer in the Technical Control Department of the IAS (Mirny)

Responsibilities:
  • Implementation of quality control of operational, periodic maintenance and current repair of aviation equipment in accordance with the requirements of state standards, technical conditions, regulations for aircraft maintenance and other technical documentation
  • Carrying out selective control of the condition of tools, devices, equipment and mechanization means used during maintenance; recording failures and malfunctions of AT, analyzing the reasons for their occurrence
  • Conducting an analysis of the effectiveness of the existing quality control system and the causes of defects in the work of performers, participation in the development of measures to eliminate deficiencies identified during maintenance of assigned types of aircraft
  • Organization of accounting of failures and malfunctions of AT, analysis of the reasons for their occurrence
  • Participation in the investigation of events (incidents), defects and faults during aircraft maintenance, analysis of the causes of their occurrence. Record keeping and analysis of the causes of incidents with aircraft, damage to aircraft on the ground
  • Implementation of selective quality control of works performed by performers with the right of self-control (with LShK)
  • Control of work performed by factory representatives during modifications of aircraft in the airline, control of modifications carried out by IAS forces

Requirements for the applicant:
  • Higher specialized aviation-technical education
  • A valid aircraft maintenance technician certificate with a rating (B1.1 or B1.3) for Mi-8T, Mi-171, Mi-8MTV-1, Mi-26, An-24, 26, An-38 aircraft
  • At least 3 years of work experience as a maintenance engineer or other engineering and technical positions filled by specialists with higher education for aircraft maintenance engineers of the 2nd category. Flight mechanic of the An-24, An-26 aircraft
Place of work: Mirny
Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge of current Russian legislation, industry regulatory and methodological documents in the field of civil aviation, local regulatory documents, methodological materials, conclusion of its agreements;
  • Knowledge of applicable Aviation Authority requirements;
  • Carrying out flight work as a member of the flight crew in accordance with the Airline's Flight Manual, FAP, and RPP;
  • Compliance with the pre-flight rest regime;
  • Refusal to perform a flight task if it is beyond one's capabilities or if there is uncertainty about the safety of its implementation;
  • Participation in the preparation of the aircraft for flight and monitoring its readiness in accordance with the flight manual;
  • Pre-flight check of the closure of the fuel fillers, emergency and cargo hatches and fuselage doors in accordance with the flight manual;
  • Elimination of aircraft equipment malfunctions that have appeared and can be eliminated in flight;
  • Timely execution of aircraft commander's commands to control aircraft engines and systems;
  • Timely reporting to the aircraft commander of all deviations and malfunctions and providing proposals for their elimination;
  • Showing concern for passengers, taking measures, upon the instructions (permission) of the aircraft commander, to ensure their safety, the safety of the aircraft and the cargo on board, special equipment and flight documentation;
  • Conducting a post-flight inspection of the aircraft with a subsequent report to the aircraft commander on its technical condition;
  • Preparation of documentation recording comments on the operation of aircraft equipment and the results of post-flight inspection, and the transfer of the aircraft in accordance with the established procedure;
  • Maintaining (filling out) flight documentation in accordance with established templates;
  • Completion of professional training: periodic in training centers and civil aviation institutions, continuous – in the flight service, according to approved plans and programs;
  • Timely medical examination and periodic medical check-ups (semi-annual and VLEK);
  • Work within the limits of one’s authority in information and software systems used in the Airline;
  • Participation in the development of the Airline's second, third and fourth level documents based on the applicable requirements of the Aviation Authorities;
  • Carrying out one-time assignments from the Airline’s management concerning the employee’s functions and corresponding to his/her professional training;
  • Compliance with the requirements of local regulations of the Airline, in terms of their job responsibilities;
  • Careful attitude towards the property of the Airline and other employees, informing immediate management about the occurrence of situations that pose a threat to the safety of this property, the life and health of people;

ALROSA Airlines JSC is a dynamically developing Russian airline, created on the basis of the Mirny aviation enterprise, its history dates back to 1971. The airline carries out regional transportation in Yakutia, regular and charter transportation in Russia, as well as charter international transportation to the CIS countries, Asia and Europe, cargo transportation and special aviation work.


ALROSA Airlines JSC is based at the Mirny airport (Yakutia), Novosibirsk, has divisions in Krasnodar, as well as at the Moscow Vnukovo airport.


The fleet of JSC ALROSA Airlines consists of medium-range Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-700 aircraft, modern regional aircraft An-38-100, An-38-120 specially equipped for operation in Siberia and the Far North, as well as An-24RV, An-26-100. For the transportation of passengers and cargo on regional routes, helicopters Mi-8T, Mi-8MTV-1, Mi-171, as well as Mi-26T - the largest helicopter in the world, capable of delivering large-sized equipment for diamond, oil and gas production are used. This is the only heavy transport helicopter in Yakutia, therefore, among other things, it is used by the regional Rescue Service in case of emergencies.
