Helicopter transportation

Aviation is one of the most important industries in our country. In addition to passenger aircraft, ALROSA Airlines uses modern Mi-8T / Mi-8MTV-1 / Mi-171 and Mi-26T helicopters in its fleet. Some of these machines have been specially upgraded to increase their flight range.

The unique Mi-26T is used to deliver large-sized cargo on an external sling and in the cargo compartment. Mi-8T and Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters monitor the spread of forest fires and participate in extinguishing them. At the customer's request, ALROSA Airlines helicopters deliver employees (shifts), cargo to diamond and oil industry fields, and also perform territory overflights. Aviation monitoring is a necessary element of control for understanding the real state of affairs at key sites of companies engaged in mineral extraction.

ALROSA Airlines has its own aviation and technical base, which provides maintenance and preparation for flights. The well-coordinated work of ground services and extensive experience in providing helicopter services regularly receive high praise not only in Yakutia. Thus, in 2017 and in 2023, JSC ALROSA Airlines became a diploma winner of the prestigious aviation award "Wings of Russia" in the nomination "Helicopter Services".
