Baggage for miles

How to spend miles

Accumulated miles can be used to purchase award tickets in economy and business class or to obtain additional baggage. The number of miles required for an award ticket depends on the class of service and the route (flight distance). The number of miles required for the "Baggage for Miles" service depends on the route (flight distance). Booking is only possible on ALROSA Airline's own flights.

Brief terms and conditions of the Baggage for Miles service

• The additional service "Baggage for Miles" (1 piece up to 23 kg) can only be issued at the ALROSA Airlines ticket office — during ticket booking or for a previously issued ticket

• The service is provided only to a Participant of the "Diamond Mile" Program and only for a ticket issued in the name of the Participant

• When issuing the "Baggage for Miles" Service, the Participant must have the necessary number of miles in their personal account to issue the Service. Partial payment "Miles/Rubles" is not provided

• Within one booking, the Service can only be issued from one account

• Miles are not accrued for the "Baggage for Miles" Service

• The full Rules of the Service, conditions for refunds, voluntary changes in transportation conditions, and forced refunds of the Service are indicated on the current page of the website in the section Rules and conditions for issuing the additional "Baggage for Miles" Service

Rules and conditions for registering for the additional “Baggage for Miles” Service

Terms and Definitions
Airline — ALROSA Air Company JSC.
Diamond Mile (also known as the Diamond Mile Program) — Program for frequent flyers implemented by ALROSA Air Company, according to which Miles are credited to the Program Participant, which can be used to receive tickets and other awards in accordance with the Program Rules.
EMD (Electronic Miscellaneous Document) — electronic multipurpose document for documenting passenger fees and additional services.
Participant Card (Card) — Personal virtual card of the Participant of the Diamond Mile Program, containing the Participant's last name, first name, information about the Personal Account number and Participant status.
Miles — Units of Account of the Diamond Mile Program, credited to the Participant and used by him in accordance with these Rules.
Personal account (Participant's account) — Account of the Participant of the Diamond Mile Program, which stores the Participant's personal data, accrued Miles and transaction history (accruals and debits of Miles). The personal account number is indicated on the Card and in the personal account of the Program Participant on the Airline's website. The personal account number is the identifier of the Participant in the Program.
Flight Miles/Qualifying Miles — Miles accrued to a Participant for flights on scheduled Airline flights, at the rates involved in the Miles accrual, and can be used to receive Awards under the Program, as well as taken into account to receive Elite Program Statuses.
Flight segment — non-stop flight from the point of departure to the destination. In some cases, it includes an intermediate landing, without changing the flight number.
Awards (rewards) — Premium Ticket or other services that, in accordance with the Rules of the Diamond Mile Program, can be purchased by a Participant in exchange for deducting Miles from a Personal Account.
Joint operation flight (codeshare, code-share) — flight operated under a codeshare agreement between two airlines, according to which one of the parties (the Marketing Carrier) has the right to carry out transportation under its own carrier code on a flight operated by the other party (the Operating Carrier the carrier). Each of the Parties enters the Flight of joint operation into automated booking systems under its own number.
ALROSA flights — flights operated by the Airline.

Media of the Program (Program's media) — Airline's website, the Diamond Mile section, electronic newsletters and electronic account statements are the official channels of communication of the Program. The Promotion Rules and special Rules regarding other recurring opportunities for Miles accrual and deduction, published in the Program's media, are appendices and supplements to these Rules.
Transaction — Accrual or deduction of Miles from the Personal Account of a Participant in the Diamond Mile Program as a result of the Participant's actions aimed at gaining or using Miles to receive Bonuses.
Participant — individual participating in the Diamond Mile Program who accepts and complies with these Rules.
Service — additional "Baggage per mile" service within the framework of the "Diamond Mile, issued per Mile.

1.1. These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the Rules) regulate the main provisions and principles of the provision of the additional service "Baggage per Mile".
1.2. These Rules are valid from the moment of publication on the Airline's website. ALROSA reserves the right to change the Rules, including their cancellation, both with and without prior notice, in accordance with the procedure provided for in the Rules of the Diamond Mile Program and applicable legislation.
1.3. In order to ensure that each Participant can timely familiarize themselves with the changes to these Rules, notify them, and The text of these Rules and amendments to them are published on the Airline's website.
1.4. These Rules apply to all Participants of the Diamond Mile Program without exception.
1.5. In case of cancellation of the additional Service "Baggage per Mile", the Service issued in accordance with the provisions of these Rules and issued before the date of cancellation of the Service may be used during its validity period.

2 – Terms of Provision of the Service
2.1. The Additional Service is provided to the Participant of the Diamond Mile Program only on regular flights of ALROSA Air Line JSC.
2.2. The Participant can arrange the Service exclusively for a ticket issued in his own name.
2.3. The number of Miles to be charged for the Service is calculated based on the destination data provided in the Fare Register on the Airline's Website in the "Diamond Mile" section.
2.4. When registering the Service, Miles are debited from the Participant's personal account in accordance with the Fare Register posted on the Airline's website in the "Diamond Mile" section.
2.5. The Program Participants perform the registration of the Service in accordance with the procedure provided for in paragraph 4 of these Rules.
2.6. All Miles used for registration of the Service must be debited from one Personal Account of the Program Participant. It is not allowed to pay for one Service in Miles from multiple accounts.
2.7. The Service is not available on Codeshare co-op flights. Flights operated jointly are regulated by the relevant Codeshare agreements.
2.8. The Service is not provided for charter and registered flights.
2.9. The provision of the Service is limited to the type of aircraft (Boeing only).
2.10 The Airline reserves the right to impose restrictions on the booking of Additional Services, including restrictions on routes, aircraft types and dates of registration of Services.

3 – Issue of the Service
3.1. The Service is available for registration on regular flights of ALROSA Airlines in exchange for deducting the appropriate number of Miles from the Participant's account in accordance with the Fare Register on the Airline's website in the "Diamond Mile" section. The number of Miles required to complete the Service depends on the direction and the number of segments on the route.
3.2. The Service is issued in the electronic form of EMD (Electronic Miscellaneous Document - an electronic multipurpose document of fees and additional services).
3.3. Registration of the Service is possible at the Airline's own ticket offices, at Mirny, Polyarny airports, as well as at its own ticket offices in Mirny, Udachny, Aikhal and Lensk. The list and addresses of its own Points of Sale are posted on the Airline's website in the "Points of Sale" section.
3.4. The "Baggage per Mile" Service is subject to the Rules and Conditions of air transportation of baggage and cargo of the Airline.
3.5. The "Baggage per Mile" service is not exchangeable. In the case of a voluntary ticket exchange in case of a change in the conditions of carriage, the "Baggage per Mile" Service is subject to voluntary refund and a new EMD is issued without charging a second "Special Baggage fee".
3.6. The Service is not subject to refund separately from the issued ticket. In the case of a voluntary refund of the Service, the conditions for applying the fare of the issued ticket published on the Airline's Website should be followed.
3.7. In case of cancellation of the Airline's flight, passengers will be directed to the nearest available Airline flight.
3.8. In order to refund Miles in case of cancellation of an Airline flight, the Participant must make a request via the feedback form on the Airline's Website or to the Diamond Mile Program Service Center by e-mail. Diamondmile@aero.alrosa.ru . In the request, the Participant must provide a brief description of the incident and attach a copy of the flight ticket, a copy of the boarding pass (if check-in was made), the EMD for the Service provided and send the request within 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date of flight cancellation.

4 – Legal liability of the parties
4.1. The Airline reserves the right to cancel or change all Services or their terms at any time, with or without prior notice. These changes will take effect after the relevant information is posted on the Airline's Website. The Airline is not responsible for any losses or losses incurred as a result of changes or cancellations of the Service.
4.2. The Airline, acting within the framework of the Diamond Mile Program, reserves the right not to send information materials on the Program to Participants who are not Active.
4.3. The Airline's route network, flight schedule, and fares, including those for additional Services, may change at any time. The Participant will be able to view these changes on the Airline's website.
4.4. The Airline may change or exclude any fares, Bonuses or Services from the Program. The Participant will be able to view these changes on the Airline's website.
