Baggage for miles

How to spend miles

Accumulated miles can be used to purchase award tickets in economy and business class or to obtain additional baggage. The number of miles required for an award ticket depends on the class of service and the route (flight distance). The number of miles required for the "Baggage for Miles" service depends on the route (flight distance). Booking is only possible on ALROSA Airline's own flights.

Please note that the following fees are charged when issuing the additional service "Baggage for Miles":

Brief terms and conditions of the Baggage for Miles service

• The additional service "Baggage for Miles" (1 piece up to 23 kg) can only be issued at the ALROSA Airlines ticket office — during ticket booking or for a previously issued ticket

• The service is provided only to a Participant of the "Diamond Mile" Program and only for a ticket issued in the name of the Participant

• When issuing the "Baggage for Miles" Service, the Participant must have the necessary number of miles in their personal account to issue the Service. Partial payment "Miles/Rubles" is not provided

• Within one booking, the Service can only be issued from one account

• Miles are not accrued for the "Baggage for Miles" Service

• The full Rules of the Service, conditions for refunds, voluntary changes in transportation conditions, and forced refunds of the Service are indicated on the current page of the website in the section Rules and conditions for issuing the additional "Baggage for Miles" Service

Rules and conditions for registering for the additional “Baggage for Miles” Service
Terms and Definitions
Airline — JSC ALROSA Airlines.
Diamond Mile (also the Diamond Mile Program, or the Program) — A loyalty program for passengers using the Airline's services, defined by these Rules. The Program is managed by the Airline. Participation in the Program provides Participants with the opportunity to earn Miles for using the Airline's services, as well as use Miles to purchase certain services provided by the Airline.
EMD (Electronic Miscellaneous Document) is an electronic multi-purpose document for documenting fees and additional services of a passenger.
Participant Card (Card) is a virtual card of a Participant of the "Diamond Mile" Program, containing the Participant's last name, first name, information about the Personal Account number and the Participant's status. Member Card
Miles — Units of account of the Diamond Mile Program, credited to the Member and used by him in accordance with these Rules.
Personal Account (Member Account) — Account of the Member of the Diamond Mile Program, where the Member's personal data, the Miles credited to him and the history of Transactions (accrual and write-off of Miles) are stored. The personal account number is indicated on the Card and in the Member's personal account of the Program on the Airline's website. The personal account number is the Member's identifier in the Program.
Flight Miles — Miles that can be used to receive Awards within the Program, and are also taken into account for obtaining Elite Program statuses.
Flight Segment — Non-stop flight from the point of departure to the point of destination. In some cases, it includes a stopover, without changing the flight number.
Awards — an Award air ticket or other services that, in accordance with the Rules of the Diamond Mile Program, may be purchased by the Member in exchange for debiting Miles from the Personal Account.
A code-share flight is a flight operated under a code-share agreement between two airlines, according to which one of the parties (the Marketing Carrier) has the right to sell transportation under its own carrier code on a flight operated by the other party (the Operating Carrier). Each of the Parties enters the Joint Operation Flight into the automated booking systems under its own number.

Program Website — The Diamond Mile Section on the Airline Website.
Program Service Center — the department for servicing Participants of the Diamond Mile Program, where information about Participants is stored and processed, and where they can contact by e-mail: Diamondmile@aero.alrosa.ru
Program Media — The Program Website, electronic newsletters and electronic account statements are the official communication channels of the Program. Promotion Rules, special Rules concerning other opportunities that arise from time to time for accrual and redemption of Miles, published in the Program media, are appendices and supplements to these Rules.
Transaction — Accrual or redemption of Miles from the Personal Account of a Participant in the Diamond Mile Program as a result of the Participant's actions aimed at accrual or use of Miles to receive Awards.
Participant — A person participating in the Diamond Mile Program who accepts and complies with these Rules.
Service — Additional service "Baggage for Miles" within the framework of the "Diamond Mile, issued for miles" Program.

1 – General Provisions
1.1. These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the Rules) govern the main provisions and principles of providing the additional service "Baggage for Miles"
1.2. These Rules are valid from the moment of publication on the website www.aero.alrosa.ru. ALROSA Airlines reserves the right to change the Rules, including their cancellation, both with and without prior notice, in the manner prescribed by the Rules of the Diamond Mile Program and current legislation.
1.3. In order to ensure that each Participant is able to familiarize themselves with the changes to these Rules in a timely manner, notifications about this, as well as the text of these Rules and the changes to them, are published on the website www.aero.alrosa.ru
1.4. These Rules apply to all Participants of the Diamond Mile Program without exception.
1.7. In case of cancellation of the additional Service "Baggage for Miles", the additional Service issued in accordance with the provisions of these Rules and issued before the date of cancellation of the Service may be used during its validity period.

2 – Terms of Provision of the Service
2.1. The Additional Service is provided to the Participant of the Diamond Mile Program on regular flights of JSC ALROSA Airlines
2.2. The Participant can only issue the Service on his own ticket.
2.3. The number of Miles to be written off for the Additional Service is calculated based on the data on the routes provided in the Tariff Register on the Program Website.
2.4. When the Service is issued, Miles are written off from the Participant's personal account in accordance with the Tariff Register posted on the Program website.
2.5. Program Participants issue the Service in the manner prescribed in paragraph 4 of these Rules.
2.6. All Miles used to issue the Service must be written off from one Program Participant's Personal Account. It is not permitted to pay for one Service with Miles from several accounts.
2.7 The Service is not available on codeshare flights. Codeshare flights are governed by the relevant Codeshare agreements, in connection with which Awards can only be issued for the Airline's own flights.
2.8. The service is not provided for charter and custom flights.
2.9. The Airline reserves the right to impose restrictions on the booking of Additional Services, including restrictions on routes and dates of registration of Services.

3 – Registration of the Service
3.1. The additional service is available for registration on regular flights of ALROSA Airlines in exchange for writing off the corresponding number of Miles from the Participant's account in accordance with the Tariff Register on the Program Website. The number of Miles required to register the Service depends on the direction, number of segments on the route.
3.2. The Service is issued in electronic form EMD- (Electronic Miscellaneous Document) - an electronic multi-purpose document of fees and additional services.
3.3. The Service can be issued at the ticket offices of authorized agents of the Airline. The list of authorized agents is posted on the Program Website.
3.4. The Rules and conditions for air transportation of baggage and cargo of the Airline apply to the air transportation of the Additional Service "Baggage for Miles".
3.5. The "Baggage for Miles" Service is not subject to exchange. In case of voluntary ticket exchange, the "Baggage for Miles" Service is subject to voluntary refund and issuance of a new EMD without charging a repeated "Special Baggage Fee".
3.6. The Service is not subject to refund separately from the issued ticket. In case of voluntary refund of the Service, the terms of application of the fare of the issued ticket, published on the Airline's Website, should be followed.
3.7. In case of cancellation of the Airline's flight, passengers will be sent to the nearest available Airline's flight.
3.8. To return Miles in case of cancellation of the Airline flight, the Participant must make a request through the Personal Account or the feedback form on the Airline Website. In the request, the Participant must provide a brief description of the incident and attach a copy of the air ticket, a copy of the boarding pass (if check-in was made for the flight), EMD for the issued Service and send the request to the address of the Service Center of the Diamond Mile Program, within 30 (thirty) days from the date of flight cancellation.

4 – Legal liability of the parties
4.1. The Airline reserves the right to cancel or change all Services or their terms at any time, with or without prior notice. These changes will come into effect after the relevant information is posted on the Program Website. The Airline will not be liable for any losses or damages arising from changes or cancellation of the Service.
4.2. The Airline, acting within the framework of the Diamond Mile Program, reserves the right not to send informational materials on the Program to Participants who are not Active.
4.3. The route network, flight schedule of the Airline, tariffs, including tariffs for additional Services may change at any time. The Participant will be able to see these changes on the Airline's Website.
4.4. The Airline may change and exclude from the Program any tariffs, Awards or Services. The Participant will be able to see these changes on the Airline's Website.
