This service provides even greater comfort and convenience for our passengers.
It is especially important to choose seats on board if you are traveling with other passengers and want to ensure that you will sit together. Without prior seat selection, seats on the plane are assigned automatically.
Business class seats — located at the very front of the aircraft cabin. For your comfort, the large business class seats are spaced further apart, and the seatbacks can recline to almost horizontal positions — this is a unique opportunity to relax well during the flight, especially on long-haul flights. For passengers traveling in business class, there is no fee for this service.
Comfortable seats — upgraded comfort seats located at the front of the economy class cabin and near the emergency exits, offering increased legroom.
Front seats — seats located at the very front of the aircraft just behind the comfortable seats. You will be among the first to disembark the plane upon arrival at your destination — this is especially important for those who are in a hurry for their next flight or a business meeting.
Convenient seats — choose a seat based on your preference: by the window, for a quiet rest, or by the aisle, if you want to stretch your legs during the flight without disturbing other passengers.
Standard seats — a reasonable cost-saving choice when you need to select your seat in advance and be sure that you will be sitting next to each other.
When selecting a seat on the aircraft, please consider that due to structural features and limitations, the width of the seats in the following locations is 4 cm narrower than the standard width: it is 16 inches (40 cm) instead of 17.3 inches (44 cm):
• For Boeing 737-800: seats in rows 2, 13, and 14;
• For Boeing 737-700: seats in row 1 (D, E, F), row 3 (A, B, C), row 12 (A, B, C, D, E), and row 13 (D, E, F).

Confirmation of payment for seat selection is an EMD (electronic miscellaneous document), which shows the cost of the service, the selected seat, and row.
The cost is stated for 1 (one) flight segment.
For the safety of flights, the following categories of passengers are prohibited from sitting at emergency exits:
• passengers with infants aged 0 to 2 years;
• passengers with children aged 2 to 12 years;
• teenagers under the age of 18;
• unaccompanied minors;
• pregnant women;
• passengers whose condition may require medical examination;
• passengers with mobility restrictions, including those transporting medical equipment (oxygen concentrator, oxygen mask, oxygen cylinder, crutches, cane, etc.);
• passengers who need to use an extender seatbelt;
• deported individuals and those denied entry;
• passengers transported under guard;
• foreign passengers not fluent in Russian or English;
• passengers traveling with pets or birds in the cabin;
• passengers who have reserved the service of transporting baggage in the cabin on a passenger seat.
If a seat selection service is arranged for passengers in these categories at emergency exits, the airline reserves the right to re-seat such passengers to other locations without refunding the service fee. Refunds for the service cost are made in full if the service is not provided in the following cases:
Forced refusal of the passenger from transportation, as provided by the rules of JSC "ALROSA Airline" and Article 227 of the Federal Aviation Regulations "General Rules for Air Transportation of Passengers, Baggage, Cargo, and Requirements for the Service of Passengers, Consignors, and Consignees," approved by the Order of the Ministry of Transport of Russia dated 28.06.2007 No. 82 (hereinafter referred to as FAR No. 82);
Unilateral termination by JSC "ALROSA Airline" of the passenger air transportation contract in accordance with Article 230 of FAR No. 82 (except for the case when the carrier unilaterally terminates the passenger air transportation contract for the reason provided in paragraph 6 of Article 230 of FAR No. 82, in which case the amount paid for the service is not refunded to the passenger);
Voluntary refusal by the passenger from transportation in accordance with Article 229 of FAR No. 82;
Operational change of the type of aircraft;
Operational cancellation of the flight;
Re-seating the passenger during the flight to another seat to ensure aviation safety;
For other reasons affecting flight safety as decided by the airline representative or crew.
If it is necessary to move to another seating place (not in the category of increased comfort), the responsible flight attendant on board the aircraft will mark the paper copy of the EMD (Electronic Miscellaneous Document), or on the boarding pass, or on the itinerary receipt of the electronic ticket that the service was not provided.
Refunds will be made to the passenger's card used for the initial payment of the service.
To confirm the non-provision of the "Seat Selection on Board" service, it is necessary to send the following confirming documents to the email address avia-centr@aero.alrosa.ru and/or avia-info@aero.alrosa.ru:
A scan of the passenger's identification document;
A scan of the notarized power of attorney (if a representative of the passenger is applying);
A scan of the boarding pass;
A copy of the document confirming the non-provision of the service during the flight;
Confirmation of payment for the EMD (Electronic Miscellaneous Document) of the "Seat Selection" service.
The email must include the flight number, date of the flight, the passenger's surname, and contact details of the passenger who did not receive the service.
In the event of a change in the aircraft configuration or a change of aircraft, JSC "ALROSA Airline" does not guarantee the assigned seats for the "Seat Selection on Board" service and reserves the right to allocate seating on a general basis. A full refund of the paid service for seat selection will be made in this case.
