access (passage) to airport transport security zones or aircraft outside control checkpoints or without complying with access conditions;
transportation of any objects or persons on fake (forged) and/or invalid travel, transport, and/or identity documents;
carrying (transporting) items and/or substances, which are prohibited or restricted for movement into the transport security zone and the airport's unrestricted access zone or aircraft;
committing acts of unlawful interference or other actions concerning airports and aircraft that may lead to their damage or misuse, resulting in human casualties, material damage, or the potential for such consequences.
The corporate strategy of JSC "ALROSA Airlines" is based on the principle of maximum orientation towards meeting the expectations and demands of our clients. To this end, we strive to continually improve the quality of the services provided by the airline. We are aided in this task by the fact that the overwhelming majority of our passengers behave as is customary in civilized society.
However, in some cases we encounter destructive behavior that threatens flight safety and reduces passenger comfort. In such cases, the management of JSC "ALROSA Airlines" adheres to the following policy:
to ensure that no violation of the "Passenger Behavior Rules" goes unpunished;
to provide flight and ground personnel of the airline with the powers necessary to both prevent violations of the "Passenger Behavior Rules" and to suppress them;
to provide all possible assistance to law enforcement agencies in holding violators accountable and applying the appropriate sanctions against them.
According to the current "Passenger Behavior Rules" of JSC "ALROSA Airlines", in order to ensure flight safety, improve the quality of services provided, and to prevent violations of public order and other offenses committed on board aircraft and on the premises of civil aviation ground facilities, passengers have the right:
demand the provision of all services stipulated by the terms of the air transportation contract;
if their life, health, honor, and dignity are in danger, — contact airline employees with a request to take measures for their protection;
use portable electronic devices in offline mode during pre-flight service and in airplane mode on board the aircraft.
Passengers are obliged to:
when paying for and/or arranging transportation or on the official website of JSC "Airline ALROSA", familiarize yourself with and subsequently comply with the established Rules of the airline, as well as Safety Rules and Rules for the Air Transportation of Passengers, Baggage, and Cargo;
unconditionally comply with the requirements of ground service employees, authorized representatives of JSC "Airline ALROSA", the aircraft commander, and recommendations of other crew members:
at the base airport at the check-in line and boarding stage onto the aircraft;
at the pre-flight inspection point for passengers and their hand luggage;
on board the aircraft before takeoff and during the flight;
at intermediate landing airports and at the destination airport;
occupy the seat indicated on the boarding pass. Changing to another seat is only allowed after coordination with the flight attendant and obtaining permission from the aircraft commander;
hand over to the crew for temporary storage in case a passenger opens a sealed duty-free package with alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, the consumption of which is prohibited on board the aircraft, or alcoholic beverages brought on board the aircraft;
place hand luggage and personal items in the cabin of the aircraft in specially designated places and in accordance with the baggage transportation rules in the aircraft cabin;
keep seat belts fastened when the "Fasten Seat Belts" sign is on (it is recommended to keep seat belts fastened throughout the flight);
maintain public order;
turn off or switch electronic devices to offline mode (airplane mode) at the request of crew members at any stage of the flight.
Passengers are prohibited from:
being in a state of alcoholic or drug intoxication that offends human dignity and public morality, the criteria of which are:
a) smell of alcohol on the breath;
b) unsteady posture and shaky gait;
c) speech disturbance;
d) sudden change in facial skin color, dilated or constricted pupils;
creating situations that threaten flight safety, life, health, honor, and dignity of other passengers and airline personnel, as well as allowing any verbal insult, threat, and especially physical violence towards them;
opening sealed duty-free shop packages before the end of the flight;
consuming alcoholic beverages during the flight, except those offered on board the aircraft for free;
smoking (including electronic cigarettes) on board the aircraft throughout the flight;
using emergency and rescue equipment without appropriate crew instructions;
using electronic devices and communication means during taxiing, takeoff, and landing of the aircraft;
creating conditions uncomfortable for other passengers and hindering the work of crew members;
damaging airline property and/or removing it from the aircraft;
getting up from the seat and moving around the cabin during taxiing, climbing, and descending when the "Fasten Seat Belts" sign is on;
removing an animal transported in the cabin from its container (cage).
A knowingly false message, including one made as a joke, by a passenger about the presence of weapons/explosive devices/dangerous substances in their hand luggage or baggage can, in some cases, be recognized as false information about impending explosions/terrorist acts and qualified as a crime under Article 207 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. For this crime, the passenger may be fined an amount starting from two hundred thousand rubles or subjected to another penalty established by this article.
Modern international air law, the national legislation of 186 countries, including the Russian Federation, which have ratified the Convention on Offenses and Certain Other Acts Committed on Board Aircraft (Tokyo, 1963), as well as the "Passenger Conduct Rules" in effect at JSC "Airline ALROSA" and the existing practice of their application, in case of violation of the above requirements, provide for the following sanctions:
cessation of service of alcoholic beverages to a passenger who is in a state of alcoholic intoxication or any other intoxication;
confiscation from passengers for the duration of the flight (with subsequent return upon its completion) of their alcoholic beverages, including those purchased in duty-free shops or on board the aircraft;
application of coercive measures to a person refusing to comply with the orders of the aircraft commander;
removal of the offending passenger from the aircraft at the nearest landing point, and in the case of a forced landing by the aircraft, reimbursement by the passenger of additional expenses incurred by the airline as a result of their unacceptable behavior;
transfer of such a passenger to law enforcement authorities regardless of the country of landing;
compensation by the passenger for material damage caused to the airline due to damage to its property;
imprisonment (in some countries — for up to 2 years);
imposition of a monetary fine ranging from two to five thousand rubles (in some countries — more than $3000), or administrative arrest for up to fifteen days;
deprivation of the passenger's right to further use of the carrier's services, including termination of an already concluded air transportation contract without compensation for its cost;
cancellation of visas issued by both the Russian Federation and other countries;
giving the incident maximum public exposure in the media and on special websites.
Please note that, in accordance with safety requirements, there are restrictions on seating passengers in the rows at the emergency exits. In the event of an emergency situation, passengers seated at the emergency exits should assist the flight crew. For this reason, the following categories of passengers are prohibited from sitting at the emergency exits:
• passengers with infants aged 0 to 2 years;
• passengers with children aged 2 to 12 years;
• teenagers under the age of 18;
• unaccompanied minors;
• pregnant women;
• passengers whose condition may require medical examination;
• passengers with life activity restrictions, including those,
carrying medical equipment (oxygen concentrator, oxygen cushion, oxygen cylinder, crutches, cane, etc.)
• passengers who need to use an extension seatbelt;
• deported passengers and those not allowed to enter;
• passengers accepted for transport under custody;
• foreign passengers who do not speak Russian or English;
• passengers transporting pets or birds in the cabin of the aircraft;
• passengers who have ordered the service of transporting luggage in the cabin on a passenger seat.
Seating of any individuals under the age of 18 is strictly prohibited next to the emergency exit. Please be prepared for the crew members to ask you to take another seat in the cabin if you have mistakenly been issued a boarding pass for seats at the emergency exit at check-in.
Rospotrebnadzor since July 1, 2022, has lifted all restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic in the Russian Federation.
In connection with the improvement of the epidemiological situation regarding coronavirus infection (Covid-19), and in accordance with the resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated June 20, 2022 No. 18 “On certain provisions of the resolutions of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation on issues related to the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19)”, the requirement for the mandatory wearing of hygienic masks for respiratory protection in places of mass gatherings of people, in public transport, and in elevators has been suspended until September 1, 2022.
